Houston is at the center of the global energy transition, and Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week is where that story comes to life by connecting founders, investors, corporations, researchers, and industry leaders from around the world. Our volunteers help make it all possible.
Whether you’re greeting attendees at the Kick Off Panel and Block Party, helping run the Greentown Climatetech Summit, supporting the Rice Alliance Energy Tech Venture Forum, or spreading the word as a virtual Digital Ambassador, volunteers are at the heart of making this week come together. It’s a great way to meet people from across Houston’s innovation ecosystem, build new connections, and be part of the city’s growing energy and climate community, all while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the events shaping the future of energy.

Shifts are available in the morning, midday, and evening, so you can choose the days and times that work best for your schedule.
